Royal Palms Beach Hotel

The hotel room, the food the amenities were all very well done and we have no complaints. This was our secondary stay here and we will definitely return. They have a great Ayurvedic spa at the hotel that was a highlight of our trip. Great place, great friendly staff as well.

Just back from an amazing tour of India, followed by an equally amazing 2 week stay at The Royal Palms Beach Hotel Sri Lanka. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. All the staff were helpful, friendly and a credit to the hotel. The hotel had excellent facilities, lovely grounds, was well maintained and always clean. Although there was limited access to the beach, the hotel grounds and pool more than made up for it. The choice and quality of food in the main restaurant was excellent. There were always a good mix of local and western dishes. While mainly buffet style, there were also a number of chef stations offering freshly cooked options. There was also a room within the buffet area dedicated to the most amazing cakes & desserts.... so many wonderful choices!! While all the staff provided top class service, we would like to highlight a few individuals for a special mention. Our room attendant, Mahish was fantastic. He was always helpful, friendly and efficient and provided flower and towel creations on a daily basis. Kasun in reception also stood out by giving excellent service. Always helpful & friendly and often going the extra mile in ensuring we were looked after. While the hotel was well located for trips out (we had 4 days out on trips) and the local town, Kalutara was well worth visit, we also spent a good deal of time using the pool. The pool attendants were brilliant. Nimal & Priyantha were lovely people, always helpful and attentive. We found the whole stay excellent, but the most noticeable thing that stood out was your helpful & friendly staff. They are all a real credit to the hotel. We will definitely be recommending the Royal Palms Beach Hotel and hope to come back soon.

I enjoy my hollyday in royal palm beach Hotel and have a Good experiance Specialy Bar staff dinesh and ramesh very good colified Bar Tenders .. Very friendly .thank you... good Foods very good drinks.cocktails...........................

Royal Palms Beach Hotel in Kalutara offers a tropical escape with a stunning pool, friendly staff, and delicious food. While rooms are spacious, some areas show wear. The beach is scenic but not ideal for swimming. Overall, a relaxing stay with great service. Sanjeewa was an amazing waiter that helped us very swiftly.

Absolutely loved this hotel.coming out of season was the best thing we could have done.no cues ,always a sunbed ,drinks served at poolside instantly. Rooms spot on, very clean and re stocked with everything daily.towel art in rooms really clever.food, a lot of choice and really good quality.staff , very polite and helpful ,cant do enough for you.pool staff excellent.we new about certain drinks were extra but £3.50 for a glass of wine and £6.00 for a cocktail ,really cheap .most inclusive drinks were fine and i think we tried everything more than once!.fantastic hotel ,good food and drink and plenty of sunshine. The staff are a credit to the royal palms .we would definately consider coming back.highly recommended.
